The Board of Directors of UltraTech Cement Limited at its meeting held on 20th April, 2024, approved the following brownfield capacity expansions:
- 1.2 mtpa at Parli, Maharashtra at a cost of Rs.166.4 crores, post-acquisition of the grinding unit
- 1.8 mtpa at Dhule, Maharashtra at a cost of Rs. 338 crores.
The company's existing capacity is 147.3 mtpa (domestic grey cement), including Parli, Maharashtra which is running at a capacity utilization of 80% during 9 months upto December, 2023.
