Sansera Engineering Limited announces that its associate company, MMRFIC Technology Private Limited, has received an award from iDEX Prime X Challenge for "200-Watt Ka band Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) for Satellite Ground Station. The scheme was launched by Defence Space Agency (DSA), under the Aegis of Department of Defence Production (DDP), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. As per the scheme, MMRFIC is eligible for a grant amount of Rs. 10 crores under this award.

This innovative solution, currently under development, is designed to address opportunities in the satellite space. This award is aligned with continuous initiatives taken towards Indian Government's Atmanirbhar Bharat programs.
The scheme/ challenge launched under IDEX "Prime" enables a Grant amount of 50% of the product development budget with a maximum cap of Rs. 10 Crores.
Pursuant to this MMRFIC Technology will indigenously design and develop a full integrated SSPA Module that will be used in existing and upcoming Satellite Ground Station Transmitters operating in Ka Band. With the growing number of Phased Array Systems used for satellite communication, this Module is pivotal to each transmitter that fit into such systems.
