Datamatics, a global leader in Digital Technologies, Operations, and Experiences, successfully concluded Datamatics Hackathon 2024/25 in collaboration with IIT Bombay at Techfest, Asia's largest technology festival, for the second consecutive year. This year over 500 tech enthusiasts from well-known educational institutes across India came together to showcase their creativity, solve real-world challenges, and present innovative solutions.
The Hackathon provided participants with practical experience using Datamatics' AIpowered tools, TruCap+ for Intelligent Document Processing and TruBot for Intelligent Automation, empowering them with industry-ready skills in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Digital Transformation.
The competition showcased remarkable talent, and amongst over 500 young innovators, top 10 teams were chosen for displaying Creativity and efforts in the Grand Finale. Among the winners, Team SIMON from Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, impressed with an innovative project that summarized emails and extracted key details using Datamatics' advanced automation tools, TruBot and TruCap+. Team SOPPY MAIL from the National Institute of Technology, Goa, developed a cutting-edge solution for automating customer email feedback analysis by leveraging TruBot Designer and TruCap+, making customer insights faster, smarter, and more actionable. Team INVALID from Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Pune, created an impactful project focused on automating real-time email feedback processing, extracting valuable insights, and delivering instant, actionable results to decision-makers. Their innovative use of Datamatics TruBot and TruCap+ demonstrated their ingenuity and technical expertise. The top three teams will be awarded cash prizes and internship opportunities to further enhance their journey in innovation.

Additionally, Shashi Bhargava, EVP & Head of Intelligent Automation Products at Datamatics, participated in an exclusive panel discussion on Data Privacy & Security with AI at Techfest. During the session, he shared valuable insights on the responsible use of technology and explored how AI-powered solutions can help address organizational concerns related to data privacy and security.
